Amid a spike in Covid-19 cases and an acute shortage of Remdesivir, Hyderabad-based pharma major Dr Reddy’s Laboratories is not just ramping up production of the drug but has decided to slash the maximum retail price by half in the interest of patients. The company said it will also be rolling out a liquid variant of Redyx, its Remdesivir brand, that will be faster to manufacture and supply.
