J&J Pause Could Impact Trust in Vaccines, Experts Say

At least one public health expert worries that damage is done when it comes to vaccine hesitancy as states and cities pause their Johnson & Johnson vaccine distribution amid an investigation by officials into reported blood clots in six women who received the vaccine. The Food and Drug Administration and the Centers for Disease Control urged the pause Tuesday as they review six cases of rare blood clots in individuals vaccinated with the J&J vaccine.
