CDC Director Says She Feels ‘Impending Doom,’ Worries Over Potential Virus Surge

"We have so much to look forward to, so much promise and potential of where we are and so much reason for hope. But right now, I'm scared," CDC Director Rochelle Walensky said at a press briefing. She pointed to a high daily caseload as one of the reasons for her fear about a fourth surge.
