New Delhi: India led from the front in experimenting with various drugs to prevent and treat Covid-19 even as the world debated over their potential. Steroids, for example, were used to treat mild to severe infections much before the recovery trial conducted in the UK showed that it may help save lives, said AIIMS director Dr Randeep Guleria.
