The Egyptian Cancer society (ECS) was founded in 1991 as a branch of Egyptian medical association, it is an independent non-profit association and dose not issue licenses. Now, it is recognized as a separate identity according to the Social Security Egyptian Law under the number (9664) on September 2014. Since 2011 The ECS had an agreement with the American Society of clinical oncology (ASCO) to hold an annual meeting under the name THE BEST OF ASCO.
